Stan Bell

Hello to all our faithful prayer warriors. God must have been listening to our hearts once again. The news today was really encouraging. They finished off today's dialysis treatment and said they would be discontinuing them. We go back on Monday for bloodwork to monitor levels of toxins that may still appear in the blood and they leave the lines in for a couple of weeks or so to be sure they don't need them again. The numbers were even better today than Wednesday so the kidneys are funtioning BETTER than the previous 20%, they just couldn't tell us a number easily. Thankyou, thankyou for your continued concern and prayers. We feel like we have been holding our breath for a long time now and today made such a difference. Our journey is still looking like a long one but we are so optimistic! Love to all, Stan and Maxine :-)

It was absolutely wonderful to see you both in the pictures from yesterday--praise God for how far you have come since July 18th Stan!! And wonderful, wonderful news about your kidneys--it's what we have all been praying for--healing, healing, healing!
Dan said the harvest is coming along really well Stan. He was down Tues. to Thurs., and they had good days Tuesday and Wednesday and then a shower yesterday morning shut them down. We know you would like to be out there yourself--that's the ONLY place a farmer wants to be at this time of year! But they say Saskatchewan is "next year country", so...next year Stan.
Just remember that you are both in our constant thoughts and prayers. We love you both.
Thanks to your family for continuing to keep the blog updated for everyone. It really is appreciated. -- Dan & Linda

We are thrilled to see Stan's continued progress. Like so many others, we eagerly check the blog daily, and thank you all for keeping us informed while our prayers ascend on Stan's behalf. This latest news of Stan regaining some kidney function is extremely exciting. We were getting worried, but God is compassionate as the many answered prayers attest. Praise Him!
