Bandage in place

This was the day the day that Stan got his new bandage. The doctor said to make an appointment with him for three weeks from now and Stan negotiated for 2 1/2. Homecare will let him know if it is healing sooner than that. Every couple of days it will still be changed and measured for depth of the wound, but I am so excited that we have this valuable resource available to us. Stan is hospital overnight and if all is well, he will be discharged after breakfast and off to his physio appointment at 11 am. Greetings to you all. Your love and support is a valuable addition to the healing that continues. God continues to bless us.
Love, Stan and Maxine

I was telling Melissa that this blog is like a modern day "message in a bottle" and we have no idea where it has "washed up" Any of you want to confess where you are that would surprise us?????

Don't think it's a surprise that the message is being read here in Fort Q! I check often and am so thankful for the good reports. I LOVED the combining pictures! Glad you had a good visit.

I know I'm not the only one reading it in Yellowknife.

I read it sometimes and I like to look at the pictures. I like the picture of Uncle Tim, Robert and Uncle Stan on the combine because Uncle Stan is back on machinery.

Hi Stan and Maxine:
So good to read this blog and to look at your pictures. Warren said that he was going to see you in Gravelbourg and I didn't believe him. Glad I was wrong.
We love you and continue to pray for you.

I found a note about Stan on a blog from Oklahoma City.

As a nurse, I have found your blog very interesting.

I have taken care of patients with the same illness. Stan is very blessed. God obviously has great plans for him.

God Bless you all!

We too check out your blog every day Stan and Maxine, and find it so encouraging to hear your reports and see your pictures. The boys have been very interested in your daily progress. What a great testimony of the Lord's power and ability to astound the Dr.'s and answer prayer.

We missed you at our church ball game and barbecue, but many of us took time to jot a note. Thanks for the phone call. I'm not much into reality shows but this one is very special. You are the SURVIVOR of the decade, Stan! Keep it up. Maybe I'll just call you Barnabas (brother of encouragement). Prayers continue to go up for you.

I have followed this blog closely after Karisa Bailey asked for prayers for Stan. I fondly remember my time with the Bell's in Gravelbourg and my thoughts and prayers are with you as are those of the church here in Jamestown, Missouri.
