Well, last week ended with a trip to Saskatoon. We had another appointment with Stan's doctor at the renal unit (kidney doctor) and the numbers were all good news. Stan was told to go back in a year and blood tests are switched from every two months to twice a year. That's progress. His kidneys aren't 100% but have stayed consistent for the last year at a very acceptable level of function. We are grateful.
While in Saskatoon we celebrated our 33rd Wedding Anniversary before heading back home to the farm. I told Stan that in the 33 years we still haven't hit the "worse". I think we confronted the "in sickness and in health" part of of our vows. Even during illness, we just found many blessings. We're looking forward to as many more anniversaries as God decides to grant us.
